Pursuant to Article IX- Amendment of the LYC constitution you are hereby notified of a proposed amendment to our constitution to be voted upon at our November 5, 2011 Docks Out Meeting. You must be present to vote.
Article X – General of the constitution would be amended to be read as:
Dues & Fees, Adopted October 23, 1983 (revised 11/11 would be added)
B. Inactive Dues, $85.00 plus applicable sales tax, 6.75% as of 10/11 ($90.74) per year
C. Active Dues, $335 plus applicable sales tax 6.75% as of 10/11 ($357.61) plus $130 for a boat parking space per year, which includes a spot for one boat in a parking spot. ($487.61)
D. Young Adult Dues, $167.50 plus applicable sales tax, 6.75% as of 10/11 ($178.80) plus $130 for boat parking space per year, which includes a spot for one boat in a parking space ($308.80)

Exclusive benefits include the receipt of a gate and clubhouse key, year-round boat storage and reduced sailing instruction fees as well as full rights and privileges of the club. One time $280.75 initiation fee, including applicable sales tax, 6.75% as of 10/11. Yearly dues, $335 plus applicable sales tax, 6.75% as of 10/11 ($357.61, plus $130 for a boat parking space (not taxable).
Active yearly membership fee $357.61, including 10/11 tax rate and $130 for a boat parking space.

Young Adult

Associate and Inactive
Benefits include receipt of a gate key, publications, announcements and opportunity to participate in all events. May launch, dock and sail boats belonging to Active members who have granted their express permission but may not launch or store a boat of their own on club grounds.
Associate Dues, $85.00 plus applicable sales tax, 6.75% as of 10/11 ($90.74) per year.
